Smartcard based security for your PC, files and
applications.
The PICTRONIX SENTRY SYSTEM comprises of two
personal Sentry cards, a hardware card reader and two simple to use
applications.
-The PictroniX access Sentry is for limiting access to a PC
using a Sentry card for identification.
-The PictroniX file Sentry is for
limiting the use of files, applications or the Internet on a PC.
With the
PictroniX Sentry System you need no longer worry about your computer being
turned on and used without your permission, or if you need to share your
computer you can feel secure in knowing through using the PictroniX Sentry
System your confidential files and private software cannot be accessed. It is
also possible to lock entire directories or Internet access. Access will only be
granted through using your unique card.
It can be mounted either externally
or internally in a spare floppy drive bay (or CD-Rom bay with optional fitting
kit).
The unit is powered directly from the PC, so there is no bulky power
supply. This boxed unit is supplied with 1.8m lead, two identical cards, and a
CD containing the two Sentry applications 'File Sentry' and 'Access Sentry'.
